A new fragrance, Modern Princess by Lanvin, is represented as a free-spirited, glamorous and fierce woman, playing with secrets and certainties.
The Eau de Parfum is floral-based and, says perfumer Christophe Raynaud, the creator of the scent, exudes texture and emotion. Top notes of a fruity duo of apple and redcurrant bring a tangy freshness and a bit of fun. The middle notes of jasmine and freesia, exude self-confidence and attitude. While the base notes of white musk, vanilla orchid, and blond wood provide a sexy, velvety feel worthy of a femme fatale.
‘I have used a special extract of jasmine, Jasmine Petal Firnat, which has the unique quality of being as close as possible to the natural scent of a jasmine blossom still on the stem. On the skin. It gives the fragrance an airy, petal-like quality while underneath developing a sensual depth, which is partly explained by the presence of indole. This molecule is naturally present in jasmine, and contributes a wild, voluptuous character that is unquestionably unsettling,’ explains Raynaud.
The bottle is dressed with a vertical signature set onto sensual curves. A metal chain – the symbol of the House – is wrapped around the ring at the bottle’s neck.
Spanish model, Steffy Argelich, is the face of this new fragrance. She has an innate sense of elegance and urban charisma that are in perfect synergy with the spirit of Modern Princess: modernity, natural femininity, a free spirit, and independence.
