Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough.. Whisky is liquid sunshine. The older it, the better.

My best mate and I tried a bottle of the 12 year old two years ago. We found its taste to be so dynamic almost changing with every sip you took or the longer you let it linger in your mouth. What an intriguing experience. So much so that we didn’t even want to finish it but savor it instead. Well we gave that idea up naturally, but we still have the empty bottle

This prize sounds great! Really starting to enjoy whisky so it would be fab to try this one in. My laptop bag also looks, in the words of Emily in ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, frau. In dire need of a replacement. 🙂

  12. Lauren Greve

I have recently started drinking whisky after a trip to the whisky bar in Dullstroom. Love the mild peat flavour evident in some!

I’d love to win for my Grandfather, because he is so special to me –

I have my Grandad to thank for some of my fondest childhood memories, from playing hide-and-seek, and ‘chocolate soup'(bean soup) to making me tea before bed, and building blanket forts in the middle of the living room floor. Loved when he would tell me all his stories – that I never get tired of hearing. He has always been a part of my life, and I am so grateful.

My Grandad was always willing to teach me something new and nothing would be “too complicated for me to understand” <3 He is honest and so hardworking, He is in his 70's and he still works every day. He has the most giving, genuine heart and never expects anything in return, and always wishes he could give more – This would be the perfect gift for him.
