Aston Martin’s first hypercar
Valkyrie evokes connotations of power and honour. A striking aerodynamic exterior and an open underfloor maximises downforce and harnesses the atmosphere around Valkyrie. The all-carbon fibre bodywork carries their trademark upper grille outline, before forming into a radical body honed for performance. Only 150 Aston Martin Valkyries will be produced.
Paul Smith womenswear tuxedo collection
Inspired by some of Paul Smith’s famous friends, including Patti Smith, Charlotte Rampling and songstress, Jane Birkin, Smith’s capsule is a 15-piece evening wear collection of classic tuxedos, coats, silk blouses and accessories.
IWC Pilot watches
Ahead of one of the busiest weeks of the year for watch lovers, IWC Schaffhausen has released their SIHH 2019 pre-exhibition timepieces. The exhibition debuted two new Spitfire models, a new innovative Ceratanium construction Top Gun model and a Le Petit Prince special edition which aims to capture the essence of the story through fine watchmaking.
Dubai steps up the resort game
On the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai is inspired by the palaces of 18th-century Europe. The hotel is a viable contender for one of the most luxurious resorts with 24-carat gold ceilings, 6 400 glittering chandeliers, and a 1 600-foot-long private beach.
The diver by Ulysse Nardin
Ulysse Nardin and Belgian photographer, Fred Buyle, are at it again. The two have partnered up for the new Diver Collection. The new Diver Chronometer is crafted to withstand up to 300 meters of intense pressure. The watch aims to redefine functional elegance with the help of silicon technology. The audacious design settles in blue rubber guards to assist the crown. And the superluminova feature makes the hours and minutes visible at great depth.
