Jeff Koons’s iconic sculpture is expected to fetch millions

On 15 May, Christie’s will be auctioning Jeff Koon’s three-foot-tall iconic Rabbit sculpture at their Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale in New York. The stainless steel artwork was executed in 1986 and is estimated to fetch between $50 and $70 million. This work is number two from an edition of three plus one artist’s proof and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
