The new Rolls-Royce phantom debuts in South Africa

The marque’s most memorable model has arrived in South Africa, and it has spectacular features.

Following its recent global debut in London, the new flagship of the luxury car manufacturer was presented at The Saxon Hotel, by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Sandton; the sole importer and retailer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in South Africa.

The New Phantom features spectacular Bespoke advancements with unique features like ‘The Gallery’. A new concept in luxury, ‘The Gallery’ reinterprets the motor car’s dashboard for the first time in 100 years. Owners will, in time, be able to commission a truly individual work of art that spans the width of the dashboard and sits behind a single pane of hermetically sealed glass in their New Phantom.

“Phantom is the epitome of effortless style, an historical nameplate that occupies its very individual space in the luxury constellation”, said Marek Letowt, General Manager of Rolls-Royce Motor Sandton at the unveiling. “Every one of our customers was asking for something even more individual and unique, and we are proud to present New Phantom as a modern yet timeless masterpiece which allows you to make your motor car truly as unique as your fingerprint.”

New Phantom offers a fresh contemporary design interpretation of Rolls-Royce Phantom DNA. The all-new aluminium ‘Architecture of Luxury’ underpinning the New Phantom is lighter, stiffer, quieter and more technologically advanced.

An all-new 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 engine is the silently beating heart of New Phantom. Engineers have also discreetly applied Satellite Aided Transmission and rear-wheel steering. The New Phantom is the most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce motor car ever.
