Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain

Located at the gateway to the country’s majestic Qing Cheng Mountains, Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain is situated near the UNESCO World Heritage & Natural Cultural site of Dujiangyan, also known as the homeland of the Giant Pandas.

113 guest accommodations ranging from semi-detached suites in duplex villas with balconies and verandas to courtyard suites, garden and pool villas. Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain offers several dining outlets, renowned Six Senses Spa and an array of interesting outdoor activities.

Drawing on the region’s roots as the birthplace of Taoism to offer a one-of-a-kind historical journey, the resort is launching a Presidential Villa that embodies Taoist elements of achieving harmony with nature and the vision of reconnection and self-development.

At the heart of the resort, the Presidential Villa is in close proximity to the main dining and entertainment areas, while surrounded by unobstructed views of the mystical mountains. Featuring 9095.5 square feet (845 square meters) of peaceful comfort and responsible luxury, the two-story villa houses four individual suites ranging from 860 to 1185 square feet (80 to 110 square meters), as well as one valet room to accommodate large groups or several groups traveling together. Each referring to a Taoism philosophy, the four suites are named “Good”, “Nature”, “Harmony”, and “Benevolence”.

Uncluttered, and with a sense of place amplified by bespoke cultural elements, the design aesthetics of the Presidential Villa reflects Six Senses’ unwavering commitment to sustainable living and preserving heritage and culture. Highlighted by Chinese-inspired, locally made furniture, and paneled walls with classic rattan fittings and accents, the furnishings create a synergy of serenity that is enhanced by an array of modern conveniences.

A collection of naturally-lit, multifunctional areas: living room, library, dining room (seating up to 10 people), kitchen, wine cellar and spa treatment room, are designed to provide guests with the feeling of being welcomed into a beautifully-curated home. The fully-equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances allows for guests to host intimate dinner parties using quality produce fresh from the resort’s organic garden or local farms and vendors.

Leisure facilities include a private cinema and an 861 square feet (80 square meters) heated outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, while round the clock butler service is available to ensure a seamless and hassle-free stay. Guests can also enlist the help of their butler to explore the ancient region. From Panda Valley visits, tea ceremonies, and Sichuan opera to morning Tai-chi at Puzhao Buddhist Temple and locally-inspired specialty treatments at Six Senses Spa, a host of scenic and cultural activities are available to suit all preferences.

Replete with personalized service and unique crafted experiences to inspire, energize, and revitalize, the Presidential Villa at Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain offers an unparalleled journey into one of China’s most secluded treasured troves.
