Loyal to the DNA of the original watch, the Blancpain Ocean Commitment III houses a reliable and robust self-winding movement -calibre 1151- with a four-day power reserve. Offered in a 40mm-diametre, satin-brushed steel case reserved for limited-edition Fifty Fathoms, the blue timepiece referencing the oceans also features a dial which bears the BOC logo at 6 o’clock.

Since the launch of the Fifty Fathoms, one of the first modern diving watch, in 1953, Blancpain has maintained a commitment to exploring, preserving and achieving a better understanding of the world’s oceans. During the past 65 years, this dedication has been intensified and diversified through multiple partnerships. In 2014, in addition to Blancpain’s annual support to expeditions and major oceanographic projects, the brand introduced the first series of limited-edition Blancpain Ocean Commitment timepieces. Following the success of this watch and the positive message it conveyed, the Manufacture extended this initiative in 2016 and unveiled a third Blancpain Ocean Commitment timepiece in 2018.

The Fifty Fathoms Ocean Commitment III is limited to 250 timepieces, and, Blancpain commits to donating €1 000 for the sale of each watch in support of the oceans.
