A rare 1963 Jaguar E-Type is on auction

Classic Jaguars are prized possessions, but this one, available through RM Sotheby’s might just be the fairest of them all.

1963 Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Continuation

What makes this car so special is its rarity. Only 12 of the 18 planned E-Types were built between 1963 and 1964. This particular car is one of the six continuation cars that were built after 2014 to complete the collection, but it’s even more special because it is “Car Zero”. Used  as the North American press car, it was rebuilt before being delivered to its private owner. The car was built using the original blueprints, materials and techniques of the first batch of 12.
