Founded in 1997, The Rug Company is the collaborative effort of 1,662 people. From the spinners and weavers, to the people who deliver and lay the finished rug, the result of all these diverse and individual contributions is a hand knotted rug that will last for generations.
By collaborating with the world’s most exciting contemporary designers, The Rug Company is able to blend ancient craftsmanship with striking modern aesthetics. The resulting rugs are as much works of art as they are functional adornments.
