A whisky cask auction has officially launched

According to Forbes, on 27 June Cask 88 launched a global online Scotch whisky cask auction platform, featuring one of the first ever online whisky cask auctions. The rare whisky and cask reseller aims to take care of all the details, the paperwork and everything else needed for clients to get their very own brand of high-quality Scottish whisky without leaving their home.

Is this the fastest Sedan ever?

The new Bentley Flying Spur’s formidable 6.0 litre W12 engine combines impressive power and torque to deliver effortless acceleration and breathtaking agility, with a top speed of 333 km/h. This results in an exhilarating drive while maintaining a sophisticated and comfortable ride.

A noteworthy selection of artworks

Earlier this week, the Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening Auction brought together a selection of works by some of the most engaging artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The sale included three portraits by Francis Bacon, Albert Oehlen and Jenny Saville, as well as a selection of highlights by Christopher Wool, Louise Bourgeois, Gerhard Richter, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Bridget Riley. The total sale at the auction came to over $87 million.

A vintage Ferrari up for grabs

Later this year, RM Sotheby’s will be auctioning off a rare track-only Ferrari FXX in Monterey, California, as part of the Ming Collection. This 2006 racer is only one of 30 and will represent the first example to come to the public market in several years. The FXX has been on the track just once at Fiorano during the FXX delivery event at the Ferrari factory in Italy and is estimated to sell for between $2.85 and $3.25 million.
