The latest Battista design model will make its debut as part of a drive to the House of Automobili Pininfarina near Pebble Beach alongside a line-up of classic Pininfarina-designed cars. The essence of Pininfarina’s famous form and function philosophy will also be presented in Borgogno’s vision for luxury cars built on an innovative EV platform. Automobili Pininfarina’s Pura Vision design model will be revealed alongside sketches and renders that define the company’s future design language.

The Spitfire’s take off

Earlier this month, IWC Schaffhausen and the Boultbee Flight Academy, in collaboration with Aviation Adventures, celebrated the official start of the Silver Spitfire – The Longest Flight expedition in Goodwood. To the roaring applause of more than 400 guests, the carefully restored and polished Spitfire aircraft embarked on its unprecedented flight around the world. IWC supports the mission as its main partner and official timekeeper.

An exceptional Richard Mille timepiece

Estimated at between $125 000–175 000 and offered without reserve, the RM11-03 represents the first major change to Richard Mille’s legendary RM 011 timepiece since its introduction over a decade ago and will be offered at the upcoming RM Sotheby’s: Monterey. The RM11-03 is brand’s sportiest watch to date and features skeletonised automatic winding movement with a variable-geometry rotor offering hours, minutes, and seconds, and a power reserve of 55 hours.

A. Lange & Söhne Regularity Time Trial

The Bonhams London to Brighton Veteran Car Run has announced a new partnership with A. Lange & Söhne. The German luxury watchmaker will support the historic event’s increasingly popular timed section of the Run, now renamed for 2019 as the A. Lange & Söhne Regularity Time Trial. More than 400 vehicles, all built before 1905, will take part in the 2019 Run and hundreds of thousands of spectators will line the roadsides as the veteran convoy journeys from London to Brighton.
