Louis Vuitton’s medieval tribute

With its new high jewellery collection called Riders of the Knight, Louis Vuitton pays tribute to the vision that impelled a number of medieval heroines. In homage to them, the Maison has unveiled a collection of high jewellery pieces full of light aimed to express the inner radiance of those who wear them. This initial collection of fifty pieces includes a Royaume choker is distinguished by its shape inspired by the gorget and a Cavalière necklace with a precious deep red gem.

An evening with Aston Martin

The RM Sotheby’s ‘Evening with Aston Martin’ event saw some exceptional examples of some of the brand’s most desirable sports cars change hands for millions of dollars. A highlight of the evening came as a 1965 Aston Martin James Bond DB5 – originally commissioned and used in the promotion of the James Bond film Thunderball – sold for a final price of over $6 million and a 1965 DB5 Shooting Brake sold for a final price of $1 765 000.

Graff’s geometric offering

Graff’s Diamond Threads watch is covered in 5.85 carats of the finest colourless brilliant and baguette cut diamonds. The geometric rows of diamond form a precious thread that brings this watch together. The Threads diamond watch is part of the Threads jewellery collection which also includes drop earrings, line bracelets, rings and necklaces in the same abstract shape.

Open-top driving perfection

During the customer briefing at Pebble Beach Concours, McLaren’s CEO announced an all-new Ultimate Series McLaren supercar, focused on the exhilaration of pure and open-top driving. The as-yet unnamed model is a two-seat, open cockpit roadster that will be the latest offering in McLaren’s range-topping Ultimate series lineage of supercars that includes the P1TM, Senna and Speedtail.
