Flexform offers its clients’ both bespoke and high design, off-the-peg pieces, such as the Flexform Mood collection. Launched in 2001, Mood has always straddled classic and contemporary style and was designed with both domestic and contract spaces in mind. With Italian architect and furniture designer Antonio Citterio’s careful curatorship (designers such as John Hutton and Stefano Gaggero are as famed as the collections they create under the Mood label), it has become a cornerstone of the Flexform business, carrying its own level of desirability.
The Mood collection sits in a space between retro and deco. It takes inspiration from the models of the past by reinventing and by making them leaner and lighter. The allure and the taste of the memory pieces are enhanced, by contrast, by contemporary architectural contexts that surround them with the images.
