California-based designer Ian Delucca has released diamond-encrusted Apple AirPods for his New Materialism series. The bespoke earbuds cost $20 000 and are limited to just 25 pairs. The AirPods further embodies exclusivity by only being made to order by directly messaging Ian Delucca on Instagram.

A cruise ship in space

The Gateway Foundation is designing the world’s first space hotel. According to Dezeen, the Von Braun Space Station aims to make visiting space accessible to everyone. This commercial destination hotel in space will have gravity, full-working kitchens, bars, and interiors made with natural materials and colours.

Tiffany & Co’s chess set

According to the Robb Report, the American luxury jewellery retailer has created a $75 000 chess set that intends to break the rules. Reed Krakoff, the chief artistic officer says they have toyed with more revered materials and juxtaposed sterling silver and gold vermeil using cardboard’s simple form.

Zenith’s Pilot timepieces are now available with two distinctive new black and blue interpretations. The Pilot Type 20 Extra Special Blue features a signature bronze case paired with a sober matt blue dial and matching blue nubuck strap. While the Pilot Type 20 Ton Up Black features an aged stainless steel case, matt black dial and black oily nubuck leather strap lined with rubber for additional comfort.
