One night only in the Downton Abbey castle
To celebrate the new Downton Abbey feature film which debuted this month, the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon are welcoming guests into Highclere Castle for a once-in-a-lifetime stay. The experience is limited for one night only on 26 November 2019. Booking on AirBnB, in the UK, for the stay on the estate is set to go live on 1 October.
A $6 million Muhammad Ali pop art portrait
Andy Warhol’s Muhammad Ali multi-coloured acrylic and silkscreen on canvas piece is set to go up for auction at Christie’s Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale on 13 November. The artwork from Warhol’s Athletes series is expected to fetch between $4 million to $6 million. Other sports legends in the series going on auction include O. J. Simpson, Pelé and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
A Lexus first
Lexus returns to the water with its next expression of a Lexus yacht in the form of the LY 650. The 65-foot Lexus yacht is the fourth Lexus flagship, joining the LS sedan, LX SUV and LC coupe. The production of LY 650 picks up where the Lexus Sport Yacht concept left off. In collaboration with Wisconsin boatmaker Marquis Yachts, LY 650 is set to go on sale for $3.7 million in October.
The ultimate big-screen display
Earlier this month, Sony announced the launch of its award-winning Crystal LED display system for home installation. The 63-foot TV is capable of displaying 16K HDR video content, and according to Engadget, it could set you back by $5.8 million.
