Robert More, Custodian and CEO of MORE Family Collection, expressed his gratitude, stating, “This recognition is testament to Monwana Game Lodge’s exceptional service that has captured the hearts of discerning travellers worldwide. Monwana Game Lodge was added to our collection as part of our growth strategy. We seek out impactful properties that offer a personalised safari experience and that align with our core values of enriching lives and making an impact on the preservation of the environment.”

The lodge was the top choice for T+L readers this year, with one reporting “an amazing experience throughout, from staff to game viewing.” With just six suites, and a private residence for up to five guests, Monwana is ideal for honeymooners or families with kids over age 10. As well as twice-daily game drives, guests can go on bush walks, take a massage at the spa, or head out after dark for stargazing.’.
Robert More together with Monwana Game Lodge owners Dirk van der Lely and Martine Schuitema, as well as General Manager Drienie Viljoen, attended the award event that took place in New York City on 17 July.

MORE Family Collection’s Lion Sands Game Reserve ranked 7th in the same category. Both properties also made the list of Top 100 World’s Best Hotels placing at no 21 and 73 respectively. “This acknowledgement underscores our vision and unwavering commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences that set the benchmark for luxury safari travel in Africa,” says More.
