Roche Bobois’s Summer collection

Boasting collectors’ items from the likes of Gaultier, Lakic, Berrux and Gorgoni, here’s what you can expect from the latest Roche Bobois’s collection to arrive on South African shores.

The Trilogie Ottoman by Sacha Lakic is a superb casual-seating solution for entertaining during hot Summer evenings, giving you the flexibility to trade places to your heart’s content. These ‘posh poufs’ (set of three) are available in a number of colours.

New York designer Stephen Burk’s collection, inspired by his love of faraway places, is dedicated specifically to the outdoors. The aptly named Traveler Collection is perfect for patio, garden or poolside lounging, and pieces are available in an array of colours, such as coral, red, orange and yellow – all reflecting the warmth of sultry summer days. The Traveler armchair, at once reminiscent of a tent structure, is conducive to both indoors and out, lending a relaxed, ‘camping in the comfort of one’s home’ air to your living space.

And for a dash of style – there are designer Fabrice Berrux’s Bijou cocktail tables, available in a matte-black lacquer or chrome-plated finish, with tops in grey graphite marble, white Carrara marble or antique glass. For a more playful focus piece, Berrux’s Arbre floor lamp doesn’t disappoint as the star of the room.
