From high jewellery to high perfumery

Chopard Parfums has launched four sumptuous fragrances created by perfumer, Alberto Morillas, and inspired by the mythical gardens of the Orient.

The scents, named Rose Seljuke, Miel D’arabie, Orange Mauresque and Jasmin Moghol were created by an iconic perfumer Alberto Morillas, who is a master of natural ingredients.

Morillas worked with bold components such as Calabrian bergamot, Indian sambac jasmine, Damascena rose and Provence honey to bring together a series of expressive fragrances.

As a young man, he had a revelation that behind every fragrance is a designer. “If a fashion designer couldn’t touch and experience the fabric with his hands, it would be… unthinkable.” Much of his inspiration comes from being surrounded by his ingredients, and he couldn’t imagine doing it any other way. Having always looked to the future, “maybe too much! ”, he admits that he doesn’t get much sleep. There’s too much to do, too much inspiration to gather, from strolling through his beloved garden with a freshly brewed cup of coffee in hand, to observing tigers in India, he says.

Since launching their own fragrance house in 2017 at the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard has dedicated itself to creating scents that not only radiate happiness and glamour but champion sustainability by using ingredients and methods which are mindful of our planet and people.

The collection will be available worldwide from April 2018.
