A dot
The dot is more than just a dot. It’s a guiding light that links the knob to the active cooking zone. It indicates whether the module is on, shows residual heat, or signals if the surface protector is missing. When not in use, it fades, keeping the surface clear for preparation, serving and socialising.

A knob
The 400 series front-mounted control knobs give the Essential Induction its distinct Gaggenau identity. Positioned either centrally or with the cooking zones, they offer precise, intuitive control over 12 power levels, as well as the keep-warm and boost functions. Available in stainless steel or black to complement or contrast the design.

The 12mm ultra-compact Dekton* worktop comes in a range of scratch- and heat-resistant colours and finishes. Two induction modules – 21cm for cookware 10-21cm in diameter and 28cm for cookware 15-28cm in diameter – can be combined to create an exceptional cooking experience. Enhanced surface protectors magnetically connect to the cookware, ensuring optimal performance while protecting the worktop from scratches and reducing sound for a more enjoyable cooking experience.
*Dekton stones are sold seperately by approved agents.
