Range Rover launched its first African-inspired SV Bespoke car recently, highlighting a new era of carefully curated vehicles for exacting clients.

Just seven Range Rover SV Onyx Edition cars will be made for the African continent (and have already been sold), each a masterclass in detailing and craftmanship. Not to worry if you didn’t move fast enough, says Range Rover. The idea behind Onyx is to highlight the design studio SV Bespoke. Range Rover owners can custom detail their new cars, choosing from a long list of options, from bespoke paint colours to interior trims.

The SV Onyx Edition serves as an example of what can be achieved. The black body paint is paired with Corinthian Bronze detailing, offset inside with caraway and ebony leather and a wood trim. Other design highlights are the 23-inch diamond-turned alloy wheels in Dark Oblivion Grey and the standout black
brake callipers.
