How Birth of Venus remains a consistent source of inspiration

Sotheby’s Most Famous Artworks in the World series, Anatomy of an Artwork, aims to delve into some of the most recognisable single pieces of art ever produced.

This week’s Private Screening explores Sandro Botticelli’s monumental masterpiece, The Birth of Venus, which was painted between 1482 and 1485 and is now housed in the Uffizi Gallery of Florence, Italy.
