Blancpain remembers Marilyn Monroe

According to Forbes, Blancpain will be showcasing a never-before-seen historic ladies’ watch worn by iconic actress Marilyn Monroe. The Timeless Elegance exhibit is on display at the brand’s Fifth Avenue flagship store, New York, from now until 23 November, and will include some of Monroe’s personal belongings and rare photos which were taken by American photojournalist, Lawrence Schiller.

According to the Brand Finance Luxury & Premium 50 2019 report, Porsche has increased its brand value by 54% reaching an estimated value of $29.3 billion. Cartier came in second this year with a brand value of $13.6 billion, and Louis Vuitton was pushed down to third place at $13.6 billion.
