A full makeover for Omega’s iconic timepieces

Earlier this week at an elaborate event in Shanghai, Omega along with brand ambassadors Cindy Crawford, Nicole Kidman, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Chinese actress Liu Shishi launched the newest models of the Constellation Manhattan ladies watch collection.

“The Constellation has always been admired by women all around the world. No matter the country, it has appealed to ladies of all backgrounds and styles,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, Omega president and CEO.

The most popular brand?

According to the latest edition of Lyst Index, a quarterly report which ranks fashion’s trendiest brands, Off-White is currently the world’s most popular brand. The Italian streetwear and luxury fashion label has surpassed Gucci and Balenciaga. Off-White was founded by American creative designer Virgil Abloh, who is currently the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s men’s wear collection.

A classy toast to summer

Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé has officially launched in South Africa. Supported by cellar master Dominique Demarville has an emphasis on fresh red fruit. The rosé is a bold, versatile champagne designed to allow champagne fans to create a personal playful drinking experience. Clicquot Rich Rosé  is best enjoyed over ice with fresh ingredients.

A computer generated portrait

Yesterday Christie’s auctioned the first ever AI-generated portrait. The artificial intelligent artwork titled, Edmond de Belamy, from La Famille de Belamy, was estimated to sell for $10000, but exceeded expectations and sold for $432500. The portrait was created by  Obvious Art, a Paris-based collective, with a series of eleven unique images and an algorithm known Generative Adversarial Network.

This is the first-ever BMW X7

Built at the Spartanburg plant in America, BMW’s X7 blends exclusivity and functionality. The newest range-topper from the German automobile conglomerate features three full rows for seating for up to 7 passengers. With a characteristic kidney grille and an innovative BMW laser light, the majestic SUV is a distinctive contender for the open road. The BMW X7 will be available in South Africa from March 2019.
