Classic Land Rovers’ all terrain adventure through the Himalayas

This year marks 70 years since the original Land Rover was made. The British multinational car manufacturer is marking this milestone with a series of celebrations throughout 2018, including a visit to a remote location known as the ‘Land of Land Rovers’ using a fleet of 42 thoroughly well-maintained classic Series Land Rovers, some dating from 1957.

This week’s Private Screening showcases Land Rover‘s short film featuring a record-breaking Indian Himalayan trek which highlights the spectacular 31km journey made often by residents of Maneybhanjang in West Bengal, India to Sandakphu.

Watch last week’s screening about Pritzker prize-winning designer, Frank Gehry, and his monumental contribution to culture.
