BMW steps into the future
The BMW Vision iNEXT is an all-electric, emission-free partially driverless car. Part of the luxury car conglomerate’s latest multi-functionality offering allows drivers to turn over driving functions while taking advantage of the spacious interior for a wide range of activities while being chauffeured to their destination.
Omega five-year upgrade
Omega is offering a five-year warranty on all its watches. This comes after the Swiss luxury watchmaker extended their warranty for its elite co-axial calibers. According to Forbes this is due to the vast technical improvements made in watch manufacturing over the past decade.
Luxury backgammon collaboration
Local designers and bespoke furniture makers, Avoova and Andrew Dominic Furniture have joined forces in a collaboration to create one of Africa’s most beautiful, luxury backgammon boards. Handcrafted from materials like American walnut, brass and intricate ostrich eggshell inlays the full set starts at about R48 000.
Belstaff x McLaren collection
Two pioneering brands have come together to share similar philosophies with a bespoke clothing collection. UK clothing brand, Belstaff and McLaren are exploring innovative materials and cutting-edge technology for their unique products. Each piece in the collection has a serial number and a Belstaff X McLaren label.
Hermès on stage
For their 2018 accessories campaign the French fashion house has challenged two actors to take on seven roles by using thirty-two Hermès accessories as props. For the smooth metamorphosis the comedians experimented with bracelets and pendants, to earrings and belts for each role.
