Made up of soft shapes – it’s free of sharp corners – the elegant cast-metal base is put back almost out of sight, giving it an illusion of floating. The Wing sofa is created with soft, down-filled seat cushions featuring a core insert in crushproof material that sits on the cowhide-clad arrangement.
The seatback is formed with a gentle, low and heavy rectangular pillow, attached to the arrangement by slim cast-aluminium supports. The back is separated from the seat, accentuating the sense of lightness. The armrest is deep and low and rests on the cowhide construction.
Linear or in groupings, it’s ideal for the home, and very definitely created for a demanding and sophisticated audience.
