Montblanc 1858 0 Oxygen Capsule Collection

montblanc

Nature is probably one of the greatest enigmas of the world, inspiring explorers, adventurers, and scientists to travel the planet in search of better understanding. One of these mysteries is the existence of green icebergs in the glacial Southern Ocean surrounding the Antarctic continent. Where most icebergs are blue or white, occasionally these large blocks of ice come in a mysterious deep green, a phenomenon that has provided the inspiration for a brand-new Montblanc 1858 0 Oxygen capsule collection.

Capturing the spirit of mountain exploration and the beauty of Antarctica’s glacial landscape, this trio of timepieces includes a Montblanc 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen, a Montblanc 1858 Automatic Chronograph 0 Oxygen, and a Montblanc 1858 Automatic Date 0 Oxygen.

Montblanc 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen CARBO2

montblanc

Montblanc introduces a brand-new limited edition 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen timepiece featuring a CARBO2 middle case

Montblanc’s 1858 Collection timepieces have been designed as tool watches for mountain exploration, taking inspiration from the legendary Minerva pocket watches and chronographs from the 1920’s and 1930’s originally conceived for military use thanks to their precision and robustness. With its latest 1858 Geosphere timepiece showcasing a design as strong as the innovation within, Montblanc pushes the concept of oxygen – the central element in any intrepid ascent – even further than before.

Montblanc 1858 The Unveiled Timekeeper Minerva Limited Edition

montblanc

Montblanc’s bezel-activated Unveiled Timekeeper chronograph gets a new look

Following the launch of the Montblanc Unveiled Timekeeper in 2023, the Maison is introducing a new limited edition in distressed steel with a grey aesthetic. Based on a historical calibre from 1923, Montblanc’s Unveiled Timekeeper Minerva has rethought the way we record elapsed time: all the traditional Minerva design codes and watchmaking finishes are present, and yet there is no chronograph pushers to activate the chronograph.

Montblanc 1858 The Unveiled Minerva Monopusher Chronograph

montblanc

Montblanc lets the light shine into its Unveiled Minerva Monopusher Chronograph with new sapphire windows in the middle case and an aesthetic reconstruction of its movement

Montblanc returns with a new 1858 Unveiled Minerva Monopusher Chronograph, showcasing more fascinating details to be discovered. This new limited edition sees the addition of five apertures into the case band, allowing light to flood into the hand-finished manually wound movement. Montblanc’s designers have taken a truly architectural approach to the entire timepiece in order to create a play of light and depth flowing through the movement constructed on pillars, so that the wearer can fully admire the 291 components via five different crystal windows.

Montblanc Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810

montblanc

Following the launch of the Montblanc Iced Sea Collection in 2022 with its frozen dials, Montblanc pushes the boundary even further in 2024 with the Montblanc Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810. In the spirit of overcoming limits, Montblanc explores new territories at minus 4810 meters – inverting the 4810 meter height of the Mont Blanc Mountain to connect the world of the ocean to the mountain, which has always formed part of the Maison’s DNA.

Beyond its eye-catching aesthetics, this timepiece has been created to perform in extreme conditions. Engineered to withstand depths that only few watchmakers have dared to explore, its performance makes it a reliable companion in harsh underwater environments.

Montblanc Iced Sea Collection

The Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date collection continues to grow with two new editions that draw inspiration from the warm hues of the setting sun as it falls upon this glacial landscape

The Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date collection, launched in 2022, caught the watch world’s attention with its dials inspired by glacial ice from the Mer de Glace on the Mont-Blanc massif. Enriching the collection, Montblanc now unveils two new models: a bronze-tone model with a black glacier pattern dial, and a stainless-steel version with a new burgundy-tone glacier pattern dial.

Montblanc Star Legacy Capsule Collection

montblanc

Montblanc unveils its third Star Legacy capsule collection in deep burgundy tones, once again paying tribute to the intrepid Jacques Balmat who was the first to reach the summit of the Mont Blanc in 1786

The capsule collection’s burgundy-tone dial is adorned with a glacier pattern in the centre and a sfumato effect around the outside. This smoked effect continues onto the burgundy-tone calf leather strap with alligator print that features a vertical sfumato effect at the beginning of the straps. This type of coloring is realized by Montblanc’s leather artisans in Italy. The capsule collection consists of three limited editions – an Automatic Date, a Moonphase and a Chronograph. All three models are limited to 1786 pieces in honor of the year of the first ascent and come in stainless steel cases.

Montblanc Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Meisterstück 100 Years

montblanc

To celebrate 100 years of its renowned Meisterstück writing instrument, Montblanc introduces a limited edition Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph with design elements from the iconic fountain pen

Writing time was the original idea behind the Nicolas Rieussec timepiece as the first horological creation recording elapsed time using a fixed nib and ink. This year, to pay tribute to Montblanc’s renowned writing instrument and its milestone anniversary, the Maison is releasing a limited edition Star Legacy Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Meisterstück 100 Years that has been inspired by the design codes of the fountain pen.
