For more than three decades, OMEGA and James Bond have shared a defining relationship, with the Seamaster becoming an enduring part of 007’s on-screen identity. Now, the Swiss watchmaker introduces a new chapter in that history, bringing Bond and his formidable adversary, Spectre, together for the first time in a collection of six Seamaster Diver 300M timepieces.
United by a shared watchmaking foundation but distinguished by their own design signatures, the collection explores the duality between two opposing forces. Where Bond represents duty, discipline and loyalty, Spectre embodies independence, self-interest and the freedom to operate beyond conventional constraints. Through these contrasting identities, OMEGA invites a closer look at the different instincts that can coexist within a single character.
Two sides of the same story
The concept of duality runs throughout the collection, from its visual details to the emblems that distinguish each model. Bond’s signature gun-barrel motif and Spectre’s octopus insignia offer two distinct expressions of the same cinematic universe, each with its own character.
“We are extremely proud of this collection,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA. “OMEGA has been the watch of James Bond for more than thirty years, and this is the first time we have brought James Bond and Spectre together in a collection. Both belong to the same story, and our customers have always known both sides of it. Now they can wear both.”
Despite their contrasting identities, all six timepieces share the same technical foundation. Each features a 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M case and is powered by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, bringing consistency to a collection defined by its differences.
Distinctive design, from blue to black
The two stainless-steel editions offer a more understated interpretation of the collection’s central theme, with their contrasting dials and bezel materials giving each model a distinct presence.
The James Bond edition features a blue aluminium dial, laser-engraved with a wave pattern, paired with a Grade 5 titanium bezel ring. The Spectre edition takes a darker approach, combining a black ceramic bezel ring with a blackened, grained dial. Both are presented on brushed mesh bracelets, while their respective emblems appear on the rotors.
For collectors seeking a more exclusive expression, OMEGA introduces two limited-edition sets, one dedicated to Bond and the other to Spectre, each issued in 77 numbered sets. Every set contains a stainless-steel model on a brushed mesh bracelet and a platinum-gold model on a leather strap. Neither watch is sold separately.
The platinum-gold models bring additional depth to the collection’s contrasting identities. Both feature polished ceramic bezel rings, diving scales executed in platinum and 18K white-gold dials with PVD gradients. The James Bond model is distinguished by its blue dial and gun-barrel pattern, while the Spectre edition features a dark-grey dial bearing an octopus motif. On both, the rotor emblem is executed in 18K Moonshine™ Gold.
Attention to detail continues across the four watches in the limited-edition sets. Their casebacks follow OMEGA’s wave-edged design and are secured by the brand’s Naiad Lock, while each stainless-steel model carries its individual limited-edition number on a plate at nine o’clock.
A collector’s edition
The presentation of each limited-edition set extends the concept beyond the timepieces themselves. Housed together in a dedicated box, the two watches are accompanied by an additional NATO strap and strap-changing tool, cufflinks, a cord bracelet, a loupe, a leather travel pouch and card holder, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
The Bond set features 007-engraved strap keepers and a blue travel pouch. In the Spectre set, the strap keepers carry the organisation’s emblem, complemented by matching cufflinks and a cord bracelet, with a black travel pouch completing the presentation.
Together, these considered details give each set its own identity while reinforcing the connection between watchmaking and the world that inspired it.
Two icons, one legacy
Available at OMEGA boutiques and online, the collection offers a new way to own a piece of 007 history, with the limited-edition sets adding an extra layer of exclusivity for collectors.
