Mellerio’s fine jewellery

French jewellery house, Mellerio, debuted the the Medici collar necklace earlier this week. The handcrafted white-gold artisan piece is valued at $2.3 million and took 4 500 hours to create. With 15 rubies and more than 5 000 diamonds, the design showcases the brand’s traditional aesthetic while incorporating contemporary technological advances.

A $2 million vision of the future

During Monterey Car Week, Automobili Pininfarina  CEO, Michael Perschke presented their vision of the future with a $2 million pure-electric 4-motor PF0 hypercar. The limited edition car is set to launch in 2020, promising an all-electric drivetrain capable of shooting the two-door from 0-62mph in less than two seconds.

Dolce & Gabbana loves Johannesburg

From September to December, Sandton City will be hosting a custom Dolce & Gabbana pop up store. The Italian fashion house is offering their clients a chance to customise their designer pieces. The pop-up store design has an expressive architectural style which mirrors the contemporary vision of the brand.
