Lamborghini Aventador SVJ arrives in South Africa

The first Lamborghini Aventador SVJ has finally been shipped to South Africa. The Italian racer capable of completing a 20.6km lap in just over six minutes is limited to 900 units and will cost R9 695 000. Lamborghini premiered the car during Monterey Car Week back in September last year and orders were open during the same time for South Africans.

Prada’s Marchesi 1824 bakery comes to London

The Prada Group is bringing its Marchesi 1824 bakery to London. The pastry shop made famous by its Italian panettone and handmade confectionery will be located on Mount Street and is said to open in April this year. Details of the interior are still classified, but we do know it will take on a Wes Anderson aesthetic.

LVMH prepares for Brexit

Earlier this week Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton announced the high-end beverage brand will be adding four additional months of wine, champagne and spirits inventory to the United Kingdom. According to Bloomberg, this in preparation for the country’s expected exit from the European bloc as the UK represents 4% of the group’s revenue.

Envisioning the state of first class

According to Architectural Digest, top global carriers such as Emirates and Singapore have been pulling out the stops when it comes to pursuing their highest-spending passengers with incredible first-class products

“This year has been amazing for first-class innovation! Emirates came out strong with its enclosed suite on the 777 at the Dubai Airshow in November, and just weeks later Singapore unveiled an extraordinary suite of its own (on the A380),” says Brian Kelly, founder of The Points Guy.
