A rare Japanese whisky collection
International auction house, Bonhams, presents one of the rarest collections of Japanese Whisky with the sale of the Hanyu Ichiro’s Full Card Series in its forthcoming Fine & Rare Wine and Whisky auction on 16 August 2019 in Hong Kong. Carrying an estimate of over $500 000, the celebrated collection comprises 54 bottles representing each of the playing cards in a full pack. Each ‘card’ was bottled from a single cask of premium whisky ranging in production years from 1985 to 2014 from the acclaimed closed distillery of Hanyu.
Introducing the Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 Platinum
Earlier this year, Omega announced the first new Speedmaster Moonwatch to house the movement. The original Calibre 321 was the first movement ever used in the Omega Speedmaster in 1957. The new Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 Platinum features a 42mm brushed and polished case crafted from a special platinum alloy with the use of gold. The case design is inspired by the asymmetrical 4th generation Speedmaster case with twisted lugs.
